Legacy Theatre Hosts One-Day Seminar with Dr. Colin Harbinson

Legacy Theatre is excited to announce a one-day seminar with arts and faith pioneer, Dr. Colin Harbinson on Saturday, July 23 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 pm. This free seminar is designed for artists and emerging artists who want to explore how their creative gifts can connect with God’s purposes and make a dramatic impact on our culture. We believe the arts are not only a reflection of the beliefs and values of a culture, but a compelling force to influence and alter those beliefs and values for good.

Colin, born in London, England, has been involved in many aspects of the arts, education and missions for over 45 years. He is the creator of Toymaker and Son, an acclaimed stage production performed in over 70 countries. Recognized internationally as a statesman in his field, Colin’s work as a choreographer, director and producer has won numerous industry awards, including the Golden Halo Award from Southern California Motion Picture Council. He is a consultant to many national and international organizations, including the Disney Institute.

Until recently, Colin served as Dean of the School of the Arts at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. He is currently the international director of StoneWorks – a global arts initiative.

“We are so excited to be able to bring Colin Harbinson to our area,” shares Legacy Artistic Director, Peggy Horton Price. “He imparts a vision for the arts that will stir the passion and gifting within, releasing the artist – actor, dancer, writer, painter, craftsman – to be who they were created to be. To sit under Dr. Harbinson’s teaching is a rare opportunity!”

The venue for the Stone by Stone seminar is Heritage Fellowship in Jefferson City, TN. For more information, visitwww.legacytheatre.us or email info@legacytheatre.us.
