Music on the Town Returns to Dandridge September 3rd!

Music on the Town is back in historic downtown Dandridge this year, with the first event on Saturday, September 3rd. The opening date was moved to Saturday, September 3, 2016 so as not to conflict with the first University of Tennessee football game which was rescheduled late to Thursday, September 1.

The event will feature a variety of music from several bands including Balsam Range, which has been nominated for 3 IMBA awards this year, along with Flatt Lonesome, who has been nominated for 5 awards. 10 time IMBA fiddler winner Michael Cleveland will also appear, along with Trinity River Band, who currently has 2 songs on the top 20 charts.

Music on the Town will be held in downtown Dandridge, or at Field of Dreams Activity Center should it rain. The family friendly event is free, and everyone is encouraged to bring out a chair or blanket. Food and concessions will be available for purchase from local restaurants beginning at 6:30 p.m., with music following at 7:00. Following opening night, Music on the Town will return to its Thursday evening schedule from September 8th to October 13th.
