PUBLIC NOTICE TO FILL VACANCY

The Jefferson County Commission Nominating Committee is accepting applicant resumes and references to serve as a member of the Jefferson County Conservation Board.

Qualifications:  T.C.A. 11-21-102.  Applicant shall reside in JeffersonCounty.  Members hold office for staggered terms, not to exceed five (5) years, as indicated and fixed by the county legislative body.  Members of the board shall be selected and appointed based on their demonstrated interest in conservation matters and shall serve without compensation, but may be paid their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.

The deadline to apply for the current vacancy is Friday, October 11 2016.  Submit resume and references to the Jefferson County Commission, ATTN:  Chairman, Nominating Committee, P.O.
