Kay Rutherford-Williams is running for Mayor of Dandridge. After being asked by several different groups of citizens to run, Kay, who was born and raised in Dandridge, and because of her love for her heritage said yes! Working Together…Moving Forward is her slogan. She sees the need to maximize the assets of the town recognizing that one of the greatest strengths is the people. She was instrumental in securing the land for our shelter and continues to be a strong ambassador for this agency and for all victims of domestic violence in this community.” Also, Kay has been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, the Jefferson County Nursing Home and Mountain View Youth Development Center.
