Tuesday was a big day for the Town of Dandridge and Jefferson County.  The newest Rusty Wallace dealership, Rusty Wallace Ford, celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting with the community.

Dandridge Mayor George Gantte, members of Dandridge City Counsel, and other representatives from Jefferson County were on hand to welcome the new business in to the area. Greg Von Cannon of Rusty allace Ford addressed the members of the community, stating how grateful he is for the support that Jefferson County and the Town of Dandridge have provided throughout the process.  Since acquiring the land, all through the month since the dealership has been open, Jefferson County and the Town have been rallying around the project.  Kevin Giacomini, regional sales manager from Ford Motor Company, also expressed his excitement and enthusiasm about being back in Dandridge.

Rusty Wallace was also on hand to celebrate the opening.  Being in the business for 26 years, he’s beyond excited to be in Dandridge, stating he feels that they have the right location, being elevated right by Interstate 40, and the ability to draw in business from surrounding areas, including Knoxville.  “Now we get to drop the green flag.”

Rusty Wallace Ford is located at 134 Sharon Drive in Dandridge.
