DANA ROBINSON, age 77, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Ridgeview Terrace Lifecare in Rutledge, TN. Dana was born in Middlesboro, KY. She retired from Carson Newman University in 2006 after 18 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, F. D. and Melva Robinson. She is survived by her brother, Bruce (Jeanette) Robinson; sister, Iva Foister; and several beloved nieces, nephews and many cousins. The family of Dana wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Ridgeview Terrace Lifecare for their compassionate care during this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given to the Humane Society of Jefferson County because of her love of animals. The address is PO Box 653, Jefferson City, TN 37760. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
