Representative Andrew Farmer, House District 17

State Representative Andrew Farmer (R–Sevierville) was recently honored by the American Academy of Pediatrics during the organization’s annual Excellence in Pediatrics event at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, TN.

The group specifically recognized Representative Farmer for his work promoting children’s health legislation within the Tennessee General Assembly and working to improve the quality of life for children across the state.

The Tennessee American Academy of Pediatrics hosts the event each year and honors only those who have made the largest impact on children’s well-being and healthcare. Nominations are accepted each spring from community members, physicians, and patients across the state.

The Tennessee Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics represents the voice of more than 1,000 Tennessee Pediatricians who are dedicated to the health, safety, and well-being of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. For more information, visit www.tnaap.org.
