Mossy Creek Foundation Holds Oktoberfest Fundraiser at Jefferson Middle School

The Mossy Creek amphitheater and park is one financial step closer to completion thanks to a fundraiser last weekend to benefit the Mossy Creek Foundation. Oktoberfest, an evening of music, fare, and fun, took place at Jefferson Middle School and was hosted by the Mossy Creek Foundation. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Hillbilly Bonez and GRITS. Both bands are local and regional favorites and both donated their time and talents for the benefit concert.

Through donations and the purchase of concert tickets, the Mossy Creek Foundation raised around $3500 for their amphitheater and park project, which is a part of a greater plan that will ultimately see the downtown area revitalized.
