The streets in Dandridge’s Historic Town Square were crawling with ghosts, goblins and creatures of all shapes and sizes, as the local Dandridge business community welcomed trick or treaters on Halloween evening. Businesses from inside and outside the downtown area lined the sidewalks to hand out candy and favors for the costumed crowd. Families were entertained by the antics of the furry friends of Ruff and Fluff and many also garnered a balloon animal to go with their sack of goodies. Halloween in the Historic District of Dandridge has long been a tradition and this year’s evening of tricks or treats brought out huge numbers to walk the streets of the old city. Thanks to the local business who came out to make the evening a fun, family friendly event.

Now that the final piece of candy has been given out and the jack o lanterns are being replaced with the thoughts of turkey and trees, spooky time is over for the season. That is, until the ghosts of Christmas Past decide that it is time to take a walk in the streets of the Town. After all, spooky time is never really over in the Historic Town Square and you never know just who you might meet on those cold winter evenings. Thanks again to all that made Halloween great!
