Dandridge Community Thanksgiving Dinner, November 24, 2016

For the last 16 years the churches in Dandridge have hosted an annual Thanksgiving Dinner. This year we will again be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner: Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce, Rolls Coffee and Tea,Pumpkin and Pecan pies and Angel Food cake for our diabetic friends.

We began this annual event 16 years ago in hopes that we could come together as a community to celebrate the Thanksgiving season. Last year we enjoyed serving and fellowshipping with nearly 600 folks and we hope this year we will see many more celebrating together as a community.

Wouldn’t it be nice not to have to prepare that big meal and then have to clean up? It seems that during those special holiday times someone is always stuck in the kitchen and misses the quality time visiting with those special people in our lives. So make plans to eat with your family, your friends and your neighbors at the Brazelton Lodge on Highway 92 across the street from the First Baptist Church in Dandridge and do away with all the preparation and cleanup so that you can truly enjoy those special people during the Thanksgiving season.

We will be serving from 11 :00 AM until 2:00 PM. No advanced reservations are required, just come and be thankful for all that we have as a community and as a nation, and to pray for God’s blessings. We hope to see you on the 24th of November between the hours of 11 :00 AM and 2:00 PM.
