AEC Christmas Tree Recycling Drop Off Through January 15, 2017
In response to popular demand, AEC will be hosting a tree recycling drop off location for area consumers to dispose of their Christmas trees. Beginning on December 30th and running until January 15, 2017, AEC will accept live Christmas trees at its location in New Market. Members may drop off their trees in the designated area located in the lower west parking lot of the Co-op. A drop off area has been marked off with orange cones and identified with signage. Co-op crews will recycle the trees into mulch. Only real trees which are free of ornaments, lights and other decoration will be accepted. No artificial trees are accepted. Members may drop off their trees 24 hours per day during the 15 day event.
