The New Market Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Team is in the planning stages of our 6th Annual Easter Parade and Easter Egg Hunt to be held on Saturday April 15, 2017. The event will kick off with a parade which will line up on the Old A.J. Highway at Lost Creek Golf Club at 11 a.m. and will begin at 11:30, ending at the Roadside Park beside the fire department with an Easter Egg hunt to follow with over ten thousand Easter eggs.This year’s grand marshal is CMA award winner Jack Ryan who just found out he was nominated for the third time for Radio Personality of the year by the Academy of Country music awards. He was the night show host on WIVK for 10 years before moving to Merle FM, 96.7 5 years ago to host “The Afternoon Drive.” Please make plans to join us!
