Free Intermediate Genealogy Class Hosted at Jefferson City Library

The Jefferson City Library and the Jefferson County Genealogical Society will offer a free Intermediate Genealogy class in two sessions which will take place on Tuesday, April 18 and continued on Tuesday, April 25, 10 a.m. until noon. Participants will explore extended topics in genealogy including courthouse records, DNA, record keeping, state records, military records, maps, and more. The instructor will be Ann Blomquist and printed materials will be provided. Participants are expected to have already done initial research including using forms and census records. Each class is limited to 25 and those persons with laptop computers are encouraged to bring them. Pre-registration is required with a deadline of April 14.
