AILEEN M. TAYLOR

Aileen M. Taylor, age 92 who resided at Regency Retirement Village of Morristown, and formally of White Pine, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Taylor; parents, Sam and Alma Miller; sister Wilma Miller, twin sister Halideen M. Holbert and her husband James F. Holbert of Rutledge, and special nephew Freddy Holbert of Rutledge. She is survived by her neice Mary H. Hammer and her husband Michael (Mickey) Hammer of Bean Station, great-nephew Robbie Hammer and his wife LeAnn of Rutledge, great-niece Jamie Hammer Earl and her husband Duncan Earl of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by great-great-nieces Colby Hammer, Jessica Earl and Josie Earl, great-great-nephews David Earl, Wyatt Hammer and John Earl, and a very special friend Wanda Seals who visited and cared for Aileen so many times these past few years. Aileen was a long term and very active member of White Pine United Methodist Church and loved singing in the choir. She retired from Kraft Foods of Knoxville after 33 years of loyal and faithful service at the a job that she dearly loved. The wonderful assistance and attention she received from the staff and residents at Regency Retirement Village where she has lived for the past 7 years certainly attributed to her longevity! Special thanks are also offered for the staff at Lakeway Hospital for the care that was given these last few weeks and for the courtesy shown to the family. Her passing was made much easier by their loving manner. The hospice staff was especially kind and considerate and we shall always remember the help and assistance shown by all that were involved in her care. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 4-6:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, Funeral Service will follow at 6:00pm with the Rev. Chris Ray officiating. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017, 1:00pm in Dandridge Memorial Gardens
