Solomon Arrested On Multiple Charges

Frank Solomon, Alderman of New Market, Tennessee and Constable of the 7th District, was arrested around 10:30 am on Monday, April 17, 2017 on charges stemming from an investigation by the State of Tennessee Comptrollers Office. According to Jefferson County Sheriff Bud McCoig, his office carried out the arrest warrant that followed a Grand Jury indictment for charges of Theft over $1000, Sales Tax Fraud, Theft under $500 and two counts of Official Misconduct. Solomon, who has been an integral part of the New Market Volunteer Fire Department for many years, was aware that he was under State investigation. Sheriff McCoig stated that Solomon has already post $10,000 bond and will be arraigned Wednesday, April 19,2017.
