Morristown Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspect

The Morristown Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred this evening on East Andrew Johnson Highway.

An unknown male entered the CVS Pharmacy at 2114 East Andrew Johnson Highway shortly after 8 p.m. with a black semi automatic handgun and demanded the pharmacist give him Oxycodone. After receiving the drugs, he fled out the front door, ran behind the pharmacy, and was seen by a witness getting into a silver Cadillac or Chrysler 300. He and another unknown individual in the vehicle then fled west on East Andrew Johnson Highway.

He is described as being 5’2” to 5’4” tall, weighing between 150-160 pounds. The man is shown on surveillance images wearing a black or dark blue and white plaid shirt, blue jeans, and a beige wide-brimmed hat. The suspect’s nationality is not known at this time, however, he had light skin and spoke English clearly. He had tattoos on his left arm and possibly on his right arm.

Investigators are once again asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
