Morristown Police Department Continues to Investigate Robbery

The Morristown Police Department continues to investigate the robbery and assault of a female clerk which occurred at the Deluxe Inn on East Andrew Johnson Highway yesterday afternoon.

An unknown male entered the lobby of the hotel, jumped over the registration desk and grabbed the female clerk. She was able to escape and run to a nearby grocery store to call police.

The unknown male is believed to have left behind the cap he was wearing. Attached is a photo, police are hoping someone will recognize the hat a notify police.
