The Annual Dandridge Scots-Irish Festival came to the streets of Historic Downtown Dandridge, Saturday, September 30, 2017.  The annual festival is a highly anticipated event that celebrates the heritage of Scots-Irish settlers in the area.  Traditional music, food, and dance are always a part of the festival as is the parade of Pipe and Drums.  Folks lined the streets in the historic town square to shop the various vendors and taste the traditional fare.  As is traditional with the Scots-Irish Festival, the event will close with a lone bagpiper on the Dandridge Dike.

The Scots-Irish Festival is the precursor to Christmas In Dandridge events that will kick off the Saturday following Thanksgiving with Merriment On Mainstreet and is a part the festival atmosphere that is brought by June Jubilee, Music On The Town and Shakin-the-Lake.
