Goodwill Industries ‘Ghoulishly Goodwill’ Costume Contest
Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. operates 28 stores in 15 counties, all of which have a wide selection of clothing and accessories that could be used to make the ultimate Halloween Costume. We are proud to host our annual Ghoulishly Goodwill Costume Contest in collaboration with the Zoo Knoxville’s Boo at the Zoo.
How to submit:
To enter to the Ghoulishly Goodwill Costume contest, participants must submit their entry by 8am on Friday, November 3rd in any one of the following ways.
• Post to the Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. Facebook page at www.facebook.com/gwiktn.
• Post the picture on Twitter and tag @GWIKTN.
• Post the picture on Instagram and tag @goodwillknoxville.
• E-mail the image to marketingteam@gwiktn.org.
Entries should include a photo, a brief description of their costumes and the Goodwill purchases used to make them. Costumes must be created from Goodwill materials to be eligible to win.
The prizes:
Goodwill staff will select three winners based on costume creativity, use of Goodwill materials, and response from social media followers. The winners will be announced on Friday, November 3rd via social media.
• Grand Prize – A family 4-pack of tickets to the Knoxville Zoo
• 2nd Prize – A family 4-pack of tickets to the Knoxville Zoo
• 3rd Prize – Two tickets to the Knoxville Zoo
Notes for participants:
When sharing photos for the contest on social media, please be aware of your privacy settings; Goodwill staff may not have access to your photo if your settings are strict.
Photos and costumes must be suitable for a general audience. Photos should not contain nudity, vulgarity or any offensive gesture, wear, action, etc.
Participants may submit more than one costume. Images of individuals below the age of 18 must have parental consent before entering the contest.
By submitting photos, participants give Goodwill Industries-Knoxville the right to use them in promotional materials, press releases, social media campaigns, etc.
Employees, clients and/or members of the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc., as well as any immediate family member of those persons, are not eligible to win.
