On Friday, October 20, the Jefferson City branch of Habitat for Humanity opened their doors for a grand re-opening ceremony. The ceremony consisted of customers, staff, and board members coming together to listen to the mission and revitalization of the Habitat program.

Habitat for Humanity coordinator Sheila Wiggins was on hand to thank the community for their continued support in the Habitat vision. The store will now take part in new hours for more customer convince. Wiggins, various community leaders, and board members gathered together for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

After the ceremony, Habitat for Humanity customers were treated to customer appreciation day from 11 to 2 pm, where they could take part in seeing the newer sections of the store with tours, along with food and fun. The Jefferson City location of Habitat for Humanity has been in the community for almost a decade.
