Legacy Theatre Presents ‘A Candle In The Window’

Legacy Theatre is excited to announce their upcoming production of A Candle in the Window by L. Don Swartz,  opening Friday night, November 10th.   Stranded in a train station on Christmas Eve, seven weary travelers find that not only their  journey has been interrupted – but the course of their lives as well.  In the words of the charming stationmaster, “It’s never about just getting there.”   This heartwarming story, complete with comedy, drama and mystery,  is guaranteed to delight audiences and be a wonderful kickoff to the holiday season. Mindy Williams, long time core member of the Legacy company, who is making her directing debut with this show shares, “This is a cast of gifted actors who are working really hard.  It’s going to be great!”     Cast members include Mark McConkey and Benjamin Myers as the stationmasters with Kimberly McConkey, Lora Osborn,  Emily Cox, Shevon Stoddard, Brandon Jessie, Scott Waisner, and Christopher McConkey playing the travelers.  Children joining the cast are Ali Odom, Cody Hodges, Rex Churchwell, Hannah-Brooke Myers, Victoria Moss, Kayla Williams, Moriah Whaley, and Carrie Beth Braswell.   The production team for Candle includes Producer Peggy Horton Price, Technical Director Deborah Miller, stage manager Crystal LaPlue, Assistant Stage Manager Emily McConkey, Lighting techs Lydia Whaley and Mercy Jones, Sound Technician David Combs, Ticketmaster Toshia Combs, and Kim Smith in Marketing.The venue for A Candle in the Window is Heritage Fellowship in Jefferson City.  Show dates are November 10, 11, 17, 18 at 7:30 in the evening and Sunday, November 12 at 3:30pm.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.legacytheatre.us or by calling 865-471-8282.  Group rates are available.
