Toys to Check Out This Christmas Season

With the passing of November, the holiday season is upon us, and everyone is eager to get to Christmas. What follows is a list of the hottest toys for this Christmas season that will be sure to make the kids full of Christmas cheer around your house.

Let’s start out by being honest. Some toys are already in limited supply. One of these toys is the WowWee Finglerlings Monkey. This toy is a monkey that will actually hang on to the child’s finger and interact, based on their knowledge of being petted, talked to, and even hung upside down. These tiny creatures can blow kisses, turn their heads, and even blow kisses. They are available in a variety of colors and are recommended for ages 5 and up. These toys are retailing for around $14.99, and are a huge hit with the younger kids. There are other Fingerlings creatures to choose from, as well.

Another toy to check out is the L.O.L. Surprise. L.O.L. in this case stands for “Little Outrageous Little,” and kids are going crazy for this toy around the entire country. The surprise is when your child opens the glittery, plastic dome they are greeted with over 50 individually wrapped toys. These toys can be anything from small dolls, to clothes and other trinkets. Toys that are a bit easier to get your hands on for your little ones include Hatchimals. They are making their second round this holiday season, after being such a smash hit last year. This time, you get 2 Hatchimals that will actually hatch out of their shells after being interacted with and cared for. Each has their own personality and talks, tells jokes, and dances. They are recommended for ages 5 and up and retail for about $64.99.

For slightly older kids there are plenty of toys to choose from. Robotics are making their way into toys more and more, and are proving to be a big hit. If your child has any interest in tinkering, the Meccano Erector M.A.X Robot Interactive Toy with Artificial Intelligence is sure to please. Kids can personalize the robot’s actions to their own specifications. This toy is perfect for S.T.E.M skills practice or just plain fun, as the robot also talks and tells jokes. This toy is recommended for ages 10 and up and retails for $112. 99. If you are looking for something a bit more classic, look no further than the Bop It Maker. Kids can make their own moves and combos for the classic “simon says” twist. This toy is recommended for ages 8 and up and goes for $17.99

For kids ages 14 and up there is the N.E.R.F. Rival Phantom Corps Apollo XV-700. Battle as a member of the Phantom Corps with red or blue designated colors. Each Rival Phantom has a XV-700 blaster with a spring action cocking mechanism which fires at a 100 fpsc (30 mps) velocity. The blaster includes a 12 round magazine with 12 high impact rounds. Recommended for ages 14 and up and retails for around $29.99. There’s a number of other accessories and upgraded blasters that can be purchased seperately, as well. Nerf battles between family or friends can be an absolute blast!

The Create Your Own Slime kit might also be worth looking at this Christmas. The kit includes slime glow, sparkle, and pop and much more with easy to follow instructions for high quality, completely customizable slime. This product is recommended for ages 12 and up and retails for about $17.99, and will give your kids hours of creative, gooey fun.
