The city of White Pine held their annual Christmas parade over the weekend. The parade featured local businesses, churches, and organizations, and followed a route along Main Street. Several members of the community gathered to take in the sights and sounds of Christmas.

The parade is a cherished event in White Pine, and Christmas spirit was in abundance as people watched a host of their friends and neighbors. Many local volunteer fire departments participated in the parade, along with numerous classic cars making an appearance.

Political candidates and local farmers also brought their own flare to the local parade, showering expectant children with candy along the way. The parade is often seen as a kickoff to Christmas season proper and is eagerly awaited by the community. This year, like many before, turned out to be a jolly welcoming of the season for White Pine.
