JAMES E. “JIMMY” BAXTER

JAMES E. “JIMMY” BAXTER, age 78 of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday evening, January 20, 2018 at his home. Jimmy was a retired long-haul truck driver for Tennessee Truck Lines after many years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his son, Ritchie Baxter; mother, Ella Mae Moore; brother, Wade Hill; sister, Ruth Fain and is survived by his wife, Kathy Matthews Baxter; children, Randy (Wendy) Baxter, Stacey Baxter (Mark) Parker and Jamie Baxter (Patrick) Lindsey; grandchildren, Chris (Desteny) Miller, Amber Gass, Ashley (Eric) Dance, Brooke Loy, Lauren Loy, Blakely Baxter, Kayla Lindsey; great grandchildren, Harley Miller, Izzie Gass, Ellie Gass, Kaylee Dance and Dylon Dance. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, January 23, 2018, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne McKinney and Aaron Thurman officiating. Graveside interment services will be Wednesday, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Parker, Chris Miller, Roy Reagon, Eric Dance and Gordon Hall. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
