The Jefferson County High School Football Sideline Club held a silent auction with featured speaker,  Phillip Fulmer, Thursday night.  The event, held at the James D. Swann Center for the Performing Arts, was held to raise funds for the Patriot Football Sideline Club, which provides for some of the needs of the Patriot Football Team.

The evening kicked off with a silent auction, featuring donations from many businesses throughout the county.  Also, for an additional price, attendees had the opportunity to meet and greet University of Tennessee Athletic Director Phillip Fulmer.

The highlight of the event that brought many members of the community together, though, was the speech given by A.D. Fulmer.  Covering topics spanning from the days that he was head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers to his current position as Athletic Director, Fulmer captivated the gathering.  After telling a few stories on Jefferson County Football Head Coach Spencer Riley, who played for Fulmer when he was head coach, Fulmer went on to tell how much he enjoys his new position.  Also, Fulmer elaborated on his support of new Tennessee head coach, Jeremy Pruitt, and how much he is enjoying the spring season of University of Tennessee Athletics.

The event was wrapped up with a live auction of items which included a football signed by Fulmer, a football signed by Peyton Manning, and even a golf cart that was donated for the cause.
