Jefferson County Area High Schools Classes Reunion August 11

Folks, we are excited to once again celebrate our high school classes with another reunion Saturday, August 11. The organizing committee would like to point out a couple of changes this year as a result of your suggestions to make the reunion better. We very much appreciate your input.

First, the reunion will be held on a Saturday rather than a Friday. We received a great deal of feedback indicating more people would be available to participate on a Saturday evening. If you attended a high school in Jefferson County, you are welcome to attend !

Second, please note the Registration, Happy Hour & Social Hour will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the live band beginning at 8:00 pm versus the previous years time of 7:00 pm. This is another area where we received much feedback indicating more quiet time was needed for socializing before the band begins. Most people also said they enjoyed a live band versus a DJ, thus, we’re keeping with the tradition of a live band.  The event will be held at Angelo’s at the Point Pavilion.

Also, we are keeping the cost this year to the $10 per person cover fee as in previous years. This fee covers the cost of renting the facility and the band. It’s such a terrific facility and a convenient location to hold these get togethers and we want to keep the cost as low as possible. However- we will accept a $15 to cover the increased cost. The more people who attend and pay will enable us to continue this great tradition! Thus, we ask that everyone please register with our team members to ensure we have your contact information, so that no one who is interested in attending gets left out. In addition, we ask your assistance in getting the word out to as many of our classmates as you can, to help us celebrate these milestones and take a walk down memory lane!
