Community participants and city leaders came out on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the city of White Pine’s annual fall Pine Fest event. The event raised a sense of community awareness and allowed citizens to transition into the fall season.

Held on Main Street in the heart of White Pine several local venders sat up their booths selling anything from apple butter, crafts, and other homemade goods. Several community churches also took part in the event with local groups singing under the entertainment tent, to selling refreshments as they served their friends and neighbors.

Plenty of entertainment for the entire family could be enjoyed as the event featured several local singing groups, a dog contest, a car show, along with inflatables and other activities for the kids. The White Pine Fire Department was also seen volunteering at several refreshment stands where they served hamburgers and hotdog along with fresh squeezed lemonade.

The White Pine community could also take a look back at their own history in the local library with the many collaborations they had set up for residents to view. The White Pine community always take the time with events like this to make everyone feel welcome along with having a good time and getting their fill of food and sweets.

Pine Fest is an annual event in White Pine each fall and allows it citizens a moment to recognize all that their city has been and what it yet to come.
