New Business

  1. WODA/Mark Jackson, Shrader Road, Map 67, Parcel 87, Concept Plan for Apartments.  Concept plan for Community Revitalization Plan on Shrader Road property adjoining the Field of Dreams property, involving THDA Tax Credit Program. Commission was presented information on a 50 apartment unit complex pending THDA award for Community Revitalization 
  2. Duane and Gretchen Slone, Price Road, Parcels 56.17 and 56.11 rezoning request from R3 to B2 and  from B2 to R3. Rezoning will correct an earlier error in zoning the surrounding properties and not this strip.  Recommended to Board of Mayor and Aldermen to approve rezoning.
  3. Approved adding item to agenda.  Duane Slone, Dumplin Creek Enterprises, Inc., Price Road, adjacent to Villas At Creekside, 2 lots or less subdivision.
  4. Duane Slone, Dumplin Creek Enterprises, Inc., Price Road, adjacent to Villas At Creekside, 2 lots or less subdivision. Approved

January 24, 2013

New Business

  1. K-Va-T Food Stores (Food City), Inc/Sycamore Sign Service, Hwy 25-70, Variance on Signage.  Met code thus no variance was needed.
  2. Robert and Katie Goff, 920 Mill Street, Variance on Front Setback.  House built in 1932 did not meet current setback code, thus new addition built on side of house would not meet code without a variance.   Approved variance on setback due to hardship on family to not be able to build the needed addition for needed family space.
