Jeff Depew, Alderman Town of Dandridge Seeks Re-Election

Jeff Depew, of 787 Cherokee Drive, Dandridge, announces his candidacy for the seat of Alderman for the Town of Dandridge. Jeff is currently a member of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, filling out the term for the late David Jones. In his two years as Alderman for the Town of Dandridge, Depew has supported issues that increase tourism for Dandridge and those that promote livability for the citizens, as well as encourage business, both established and new, to the town.

“As a business owner, I understand the challenges that face business owners and want to do everything that I can to encourage successful business in Dandridge. I am also a resident of this community and appreciate the things that make Dandridge unique like its history and small town atmosphere. I believe that we can build a strong atmosphere where businesses can thrive while maintaining the best assets of Dandridge and tourism is a key to that balance.”

Depew is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BA in Political Science. He is a thirty year resident of Dandridge and he was seated as a member of the Jefferson County Industrial Development Board in 2018 where he serves as Treasurer. Jeff is the owner and Editor-in-Chief of the Jefferson County Post and the owner of the Dandridge General Store. He is married to Dandridge native Krissi Swann Depew and they have one child, Jake Depew.

Jeff is asking for your vote and support in the November 6, 2018 election. “ I am proud of the accomplishments that have been made and believe that there is still more work to be done. As an Alderman, I have always had an open door policy and believe that representing the people means listening and making myself available to the community. Dandridge is a great place to live and I would like to serve in continuing to make our Town work for our residents, visitors and businesses. I am asking for your vote and support in the November 6, 2018 election for the position of Alderman of the Town of Dandridge.”
