INVITATION TO BID

Jefferson County will accept sealed bids on two vehicles.  These vehicles are available for visible inspection at 214 W. Main Street, Dandridge, TN.  Bids will be accepted on these vehicles as is where is.  The successful bidder has twenty-four (24) hours to remove the vehicle from the property of the Jefferson County.  Cash or Certified Check Only.  Bids will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at which time they will be opened at the Jefferson County Courthouse at 202 W. Main Street, Dandridge, TN.

1994 Buick Century 4dr car – VIN# 1G4AG55M1R6465613, Mileage showing 168,225, selling as/is where is with a clear title.  Minimum bid $200.

1995 Buick century 4dr car – VIN# 1G4AG55M0S6490847, Mileage showing 089,750, selling as is/ where is with a clear title.  Minimum bid $200.00.

Sealed bids must be labeled “94 Buick” or “95 Buick” and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, Tn. 37725, dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN 37725 or delivered in person at the Jefferson County Courthouse on Wednesday November 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids.

Jefferson County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and as amended, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.I. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial Assistance from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
