REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Jefferson County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for “Design/Build Services for the Renovation of Athletic Facilities at Jefferson County High School”.

To Pre-Qualify to bid email a Contractor’s Qualification Statement (A305 or equivalent) to Langdon Potts, Finance Director @ LPotts@JeffersonCountyTN.gov or fax to (865) 397-4537.   Copies of the (RFP) will be available Monday, December 10, 2018.  For additional information contact Langdon Potts at (865) 397-4922 ext 101.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 9:00 am on Friday December 14, 2018 in the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts at Jefferson County High School at 115 West Dumplin Valley Road, Dandridge, TN  37725.

Completed RFP’s may either be hand delivered to the Jefferson County Finance Office at 1244 Gay Street in Dandridge or mailed to the attention of County Finance Director Langdon Potts, at P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN. 37725.  RFP’s will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2018.

Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids.  The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the county of Jefferson.

Jefferson County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and as amended, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.I. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial Assistance from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
