PUBLIC NOTICE – Accounting and Payroll Administration Positions Open for Jefferson County Finance Office

The Jefferson County Finance Office is accepting resumes for Accounting and Payroll Administration positions. 

Accounting candidate must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance.  Position reports to the County Finance Director with responsibilities to include monthly close, reserve analysis, budgets, payroll taxes, grants accounting, year-end close, etc. for Jefferson County Schools.  The successful candidate must be a team player and have a customer service attitude.

Payroll Administrator must have a minimum five years’ experience processing large payrolls.  Position reports to the County Finance Director with responsibilities to include payroll and related activities for over 900 employees.  The successful candidate must be a team player and have a customer service attitude.
