Beer Cheese Dip
Super Bowl Sunday is here! Are you looking for a great man-food appetizer? This dip fits the bill. Pair it with soft pretzels or pumpernickel bread for the perfect pregame snack.
Ingredients:
1 pound American cheese (such as Velveeta), cut into cubes
1 cup whole milk
1 cup dark beer
1 T Worcestershire
1 T Dijon mustard
¼ t Tabasco
Directions:
Place beer, Worcestershire, mustard, and Tabasco in sauce pot set over medium heat. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add cheese, a few cubes at a time, and stir with a spoon until melted. Continue adding cheese and stirring until all cheese has been incorporated. Add milk until sauce is desired consistency, blending well with a whisk. Serve warm. (Dip may be placed in a slow cooker to keep warm.)
