Modern Woodmen Honors Hometown Hero Rae Hutchins

MWA Board Member Betty Shaw, Honoree Rae Hutchins, MWA Board Member Jessica Elder

Recently, the Dandridge Chapter of Modern Woodmen of America honored Rae Hutchins as our Hometown Hero for her outstanding service to our community. Rae Hutchins has been the volunteer coordinator for Music on the Town for the past 15 years.  She books all the talented performers we enjoy hearing, and also helps raise funds to pay for the events.  In the past, she has coordinated the June Jubilee events for downtown Dandridge as well as served on the Jefferson County Historical and Dandridge Historic Planning Commission Boards.  She is a past president of the Dandridge Merchants and Professional Association.

As a fraternal/financial service organization MWA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families and communities; therefore, we recognize Ms. Hutchins accomplishments and appreciate her contributions to Dandridge and Jefferson County!

Modern Woodmen donates $100 to a charity of the Hometown Hero’s choice.  She has chosen Safe Space of East Tennessee to receive this donation. Rae Hutchins you are truly a Hometown Hero!
