Grave Marking for Revolutionary War Patriot Joseph Hill

Martha Dandridge Washington Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held a grave marking ceremony April 13, 2019 at the Hills Union Cemetery in Dandridge, Tennessee. The grave was that of Revolutionary War Patriot, Joseph Hill, born CIRCA 1735, and passed February 1, 1807 in Tennessee. Joseph Hill was identified as a Patriot of the American Revolution in that he paid Supply Tax – Hampshire Co. VA in 1783.

The ceremony was attended by many distinguished guests, direct descendants of Joseph Hill, and elected officials.
