Mildred B. Moore, age 84, of Dandridge, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 after a sudden illness. She attended Hills Union United Methodist Church in Dandridge.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Eldridge Burgin; and her husband, Alger Curtis (Curt) Moore.
She is survived by her sister, Gereldean (Johnny) Carmichael; a brother, Donnie (Carolyn) Burgin; nieces, Debbi (Steve) Finchum and Heather (Jeff) Anderson; and nephews, Jim (Bonnie) Carmichael and Russell (Leah) Burgin; along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home of Dandridge Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 5 pm until 7pm. Visitation will also be Friday, April 26, 2019 at Hills Union Methodist Church from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with funeral at 2:00pm at the church. Burial will follow at Hills Union Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Jefferson Park Nursing Home and Amedisys Hospice for taking great care of Mildred.
