WILLIAM (BILL) LYEN

WILLIAM (BILL) LYEN, 72, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday, April, 27, 2019. Bill was born on May 22, 1946, in Harrodsburg, KY. He married Terry Harper Lyen in 2007, and they retired to Douglas Lake in Dandridge, TN. 
He is survived by his son Michael Lyen (Betsy), step-children Vivi Gragnano (Ryan), Jamie Gray (Heather), four grandchildren, Ashley Lyen, Sophie Lyen, Lily Gragnano and Ryan Gragnano, Jr. and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sprole and Adeline Lyen.

Bill loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He loved to fish. He loved his boats and his Harley. He loved his wife and family and he loved his dogs. Friends remember him as a lifelong Kentucky basketball fan and as someone who came by to visit in good times and bad. He always had a ready smile and a good word. 
A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Boston Terrier Rescue of East TN at www.bostonterrierTN.org.
