NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

JEFFERSON COUNTY PROPOSED 2019 – 2020

PROPERTY TAX LEVY AND COUNTY/SCHOOL BUDGETS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all County Commissioners and residents of Jefferson County, Tennessee and to all other persons who might be interested, that the Jefferson County Commission Budget Committee will meet on Monday, June 10, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in the Jefferson County Courthouse, 202 W. Main Street, Dandridge, Tennessee, for the purpose of receiving citizen comment on the intent to consider a resolution to levy a tax rate on all taxable property within Jefferson County boundaries.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any citizen upon five (5) days’ written request shall have the right to appear and state their views on the proposed budget for fiscal year beginning July 1,2019 and ending June 30, 2020. Mail request to Jefferson County Commission, ATTN: Budget Committee Chairman/Commissioner John Neal Scarlett, P.O. Box 1726, Dandridge, TN 37725.

THIS NOTICE IS GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of Tenn. Code Ann. § 5-21-111 as amended.
