JCHS Homecoming is October 5th, 2012

We’re in the process of forming an alumni band to play in the stands during the 3rd quarter and accompany the current students in the stands on that evening.

We currently meet for very informal rehearsals on Wednesdays @ 5:30 at the JCHS Band Room until we approach the date of homecoming. At that time we may try to schedule a rehearsal to combine the high school and our bands for some of the stands tunes.

Don’t worry if you believe you’ve been off your instrument for too long: I have 26 year olds who began to hammer out the fight song on their tuba like it was embedded into their brain (which over our four years, it was!)

So far we’ve had a decent turnout and we’d always love to have more former band students. Hope to see you soon!
