Jefferson County Schools Dedicate Sports Complex Field at JCHS

Jefferson County School Board and Jefferson County High School took the time in last week’s Soccer and Football home opening games to dedicate the all new playing surface. The turf playing field was designed to provide the endurance needed for a multi- sport complex field as it is shared by multiple teams and student organizations. The field is the first stage of the renovations that also include a state of the art track, tennis courts and softball field as well as practice field to be shared by the football and soccer teams. On hand for the dedication were members of the school board, county commission and Jefferson County Government, Director of Schools Dr. Shane Johnston, as well as student representatives and student athletes.
