Annual Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair Arrives for the Fall Season

Along with the crisp autumn air comes the season’s Annual Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair from October 5 through October 22 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Some of the finest artisans and crafters in the nation will be displaying their one-of-a-kind handmade items for purchase, giving holiday shoppers the perfect opportunity to take home rare gifts not found anywhere else. The event also serves as a chance for visitors to see first-hand more than 200 artisans demonstrate their expert techniques and astounding skill.

From potters to molded leather makers to quilters, each of the fair’s participants has undergone a thorough review to ensure the highest possible standards in artistic quality and skill. Voted by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the region’s “Most Popular Events,” the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair has something for not just the craft-lover, but the music-lover as well, with this fall craft fair providing free live performances of contemporary country, bluegrass, and your favorite gospel tunes at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
