TRAFFIC ALERT – Between White Pine and Dandridge

Motorists traveling on State Route 113 between White Pine and Dandridge should be aware of upcoming roadwork that will have an effect on their travel patterns.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 4, State Route 113 will be closed near Leadvale Road for a small structure replacement.  This road closure will be in place 24/7 until work is complete.

State Route 113 is expected to reopen on or before Friday, November 8.

Detour information is as follows:

Traffic heading north on State Route 113 towards White Pine will be detoured to I-40 West to I-81 North to State Route 341 East at Exit 4, and then back to State Route 113.

Traffic heading south on State Route 113 towards Dandridge will be detoured to State Route 341 West to I-81 South to I-40 at Exit 424, and then back to State Route 113.

Motorists may want to consider alternate routes as this work continues.  Motorists should use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
