Baneberry Recipient Of $30,000 Non-Matching Grant from Jefferson Health Care Foundation

Mayor Hernandez announced today the City of Baneberry is the recipient of a non-matching grant from the Jefferson Health Care Foundation Fund in the amount of $30,000.

Mayor Hernandez stated the money would go for equipment to update the city fire department. Mayor Hernandez wants to extend her deep appreciation to Vice Mayor Tom Carter and Commissioner Gary Zander for their support and help. She also wants to acknowledge and thank Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce President Darrell Helton, Sandy Edwards, Laura Staib, Alan Palmieri for their assistance.
