INVITATION TO BID – Provision of Cleaning HVAC ducts, air handlers, fans, including all ancillary items and associated equipment

INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Schools will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the provision of cleaning HVAC ducts, air handlers, fans, including all ancillary items and associated equipment (i.e., grills, registers, screens, etc.) for the following schools: 

  1. Dandridge Elementary School, 780 South Hwy. 92 Dandridge, TN 37725
  2. New Market Elementary School, 1559 W Old A J Hwy, New Market, TN 37820
  3. White Pine School, 3060 Roy Messer Hwy. White Pine, TN 37890

A Mandatory Walk-Through will be held on May 29, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m. beginning at 1) White Pine School, followed by 2) Dandridge Elementary School and concluding at 3) New Market Elementary School to become familiar with the premises specified, the work to be performed according to the bid specifications and to provide a forum for questions/answers. ATTENDANCE AT THE WALK-THROUGH IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. Companies not in attendance at the Walk-Through will NOT be eligible to submit a proposal on this project. Bid packet will be available following the walk-through.

Sealed bids must be marked-“HVAC DUCT CLEANING” -and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the ATTENTION of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at PO Box 1749, Dandridge, Tn. 37725-or dropped off at 1244 Gay St. Dandridge, Tn. 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm Friday, June 5, 2020 at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department Conference Room.

The awarded bidder must be in good standing with Jefferson County, TN.  The intent is to allow the contract start date to begin on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.  All questions can be sent via email to tarnold@jcboe.net.

Jefferson County reserves the right to ACCEPT OR REJECT any and all bids and to

WAIVE ANY AND ALL IRREGULARITIES IN THE RECEIPT/HANDLING OF BIDS. THE AWARDED BIDDER MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON.
