The Jefferson County Purchasing Department / Director Facilities & Safety will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for a – FIRE SUPPRESSION SPRINKLER SYSTEM ADDITION meeting current fire suppression code for the following building located in downtown Dandridge, TN. Jefferson County Courthouse.

The awarded bidder must be in good standing with Jefferson County, Tn. The awarded bidder must have full knowledge of all FIRE SUPPRESSOR SPRINKLER SYSTEMS rules and regulations.

Information on the outside of the BID ENVELOPE must include the following:

  • Marked bid for: “JEFFERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE SPRINKLER SYSTEM”
  • Sealed bid received by 2:00 pm on Friday October 16, 2020
  • Name and Address of bidder
  • Telephone number
  • Tennessee Contractor’s License Number
  • Date of expiration of License
  • License classification applicable to this project
  • License limitation (dollar amount)

For a tour of the Facilities and /or a visual look at the Floor Plan of the Courthouse and or a COMPLETE SET OF DRAWINGS/PLANS you may contact the Office of the Director of Facilities and Safety, 214 West Main Street, Dandridge, Tn. 37725, or you may call David Longmire at 865-397-3800/865-257-4852. All bidders are required to obtain and submit a FULLY COMPLETED BID PACKAGE to be considered for the project.

Sealed bids must be marked-“JEFFERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE SPRINKLER SYSTEM”-and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the ATTENTION of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at- PO Box 1749, Dandridge, TN. 37725-or dropped off at -1244 Gay St. Dandridge, Tn. 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm Friday October 16, 2020 at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department Conference Room.

Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the county of Jefferson.
