UT Extension October Virtual Programs

UT Extension of Sevier County is offering Family and Consumer Science virtual programs through Zoom in October. The cost is free and interested attendees are asked to sign up prior to class.

Canning Apple Butter will be presented Tuesday, October 13, from 7:00pm to 8:30 pm. Through this class, you will learn the basics of using a Water Bath Canner, as well as view a live demonstration of canning apple butter. Apple Canning Recipes will be sent to all participants after program

Simple Steps to Budgeting will be presented Thursday, October 15, 9:30 – 10:15 am. One of the most important steps to financial success is creating a budget. Participants will actually do a budget example, and receive a “budget packet” by email after the training.

Eat Smart – Save More will be shared Thursday, October 22, 9:30 – 10:15 am. Learn tips on Planning, Shopping, Preparing Meals, and Eating on a Budget.

Credit – The Good & Bad – Thursday, will be the Zoom topic on October 29, 9:30 – 10:15am. What are some tips to consider when borrowing money, including use of a credit card?
