PAULINE “POLLY” NAPIER

PAULINE “POLLY” NAPIER, age 92, of Dandridge, TN, passed away April 12, 2021 after a brief illness. Polly retired from Jefferson County schools in 2015 where she had many special friends at Dandridge Elementary School. She was a member of Dandridge First United Methodist Church. Polly’s hobbies included shopping, reading, puzzles and flower gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Napier; parents, George and Annie Potter; sisters, Alma Potter and Katie Evans; and brother, George Harold Potter. Polly is survived by her daughter, Billie (George) Yardley; grandson, Joshua, the joy of her life; nephew, Tony (Rita) Potter; nieces, Melanie (Billy) Daugherty and Laurie (Steve) Boggs; several grand-nephews and niece; best friend, Mary Alice Hasty and special friends, the Jack Hasty family, the Jim Estes family and neighbors of Peck Subdivision in Dandridge. Pallbearers include Joshua Yardley, Tony Potter, Wayne Potter, Will Daugherty, Jack Hasty, Eric Estes and Phil Chambers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 3:30 until 5:00 at Dandridge First United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 5:00pm with Reverend Dr. Steve Brown and Reverend Tracy Wilson officiating and eulogy by Mary Alice Hasty. Graveside interment service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00am at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
