PHYLLIS SNYDER JONES, age 77, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away April 25, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Kodak Eastern Star and Holston Memorial Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Tennie Snyder; husband, Wayne Jones; daughter, Jama Hance; brother, Wayne Snyder; sister, Lois Griffey. She is survived by her very special nephew, Donny Griffey; daughter, Jackie Jones; grandsons, Houston and Dawson Hance; son-in-law, Scott Hance; sisters, Judy Stansberry, and Noralee Burroughs; brother, Haskel Snyder; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Kodak with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 N Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
