Raymond La Shier age 83 of Dandridge, passed away on May 2, 2021. He was member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, actively and passionately involved in the International Police Association and a retired 22 yr police officer of Suffolk County, Long Island, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Frederick La Shier and Dorothy Sofield La Shier, and a sister, Joan Millington.
Ray is survived by his loving and adoring wife of 62 years, Helen A. La Shier, sons, Scott (Becky) La Shier, Jeff (Angie) La Shier, Michael (Valerie) La Shier, and Rob La Shier, grandchildren, Brian, Sarah, Heather, Carissa, Morgan, Brianna, and Mitchel, great grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Addison, and Hadley.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Patrick Resen officiating. Inurnment in the Columbarium will follow the service. Visitation will be on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
