Sarah Ianita Least
Sarah Ianita Least, age 88 of Dandridge, passed away on May 5, 2021. Sarah was born in LeRoy, NY to the late Raymond Sr. and Rose Ianello Ianita on May 21, 1932. Sarah and Frank Least were married on September 3, 1955. Together, they raised two sons and a daughter. Sarah last worked at Lapp Insulator as a switchboard operator and retired in 1993, when they relocated to Dandridge, TN. Sarah and Frank were married for 41 years until Frank passed in 1997.
Sarah adored her family and loved spending time with them. The larger her family grew, the happier she was. Her smile was beautiful, and her laugh was contagious. She will be remembered for her love of children, birds/animals, her love for chocolate, cooking/baking, her love of puzzles/cards/games, her crewel work and her love of all things Thomas Kincade.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, Frank, sister, Jane (Peter) Orsini, brothers, Joseph (Mary) Ianita and Samuel Ianita, and grandson, Raymond Krol Jr.
Sarah is survived by her sister, Frances Krenzer and brother, Raymond Jr. (Jeanne) Ianita, children, Michael (Donna) Least, Joseph (Teresa) Least and Carol (Raymond) Krol, grandchildren/great grandchildren, Mindy (Brent) French [children-Jacob and Isabel], Katie Least-McAfee, Jeffrey (Anna) Least [children-Aiden, Addaline and Oliver], Frances (James) Young [children-Graciella and James], Jenna (Christopher) Page [child-Jay], Sarah Krol, Stephanie (Peter) Young, Rachel (Nicolas) Willis [child-Scarlett]. In addition, Sarah has three more great grandchildren arriving in 2021. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Private Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice 222 Heritage Blvd, Newport, TN 37821.
